The Philippines has one member federation inside the International Padel Federation. This page sets out what that means and how to verify it.

PPA is the Philippines’ FIP member federation
The International Padel Federation is the world governing body for padel. It admits one member federation per country. The Philippine Padel Association holds that membership for the Philippines, under country code PHI.
You don’t need to take our word for it — the FIP publishes its member federations directly, and the Philippine entry lists the Philippine Padel Association, with its registered address in Metro Manila and its president of record.
Continental standing
Also recognised within Padel Asia
PPA’s standing is not limited to world membership. The federation is also recognised within Padel Asia, the FIP’s continental confederation for the region — the structure through which Asian federations coordinate continental championships, regional governance, and qualification pathways into FIP world events.
World membership and continental recognition are not two competing claims. They are the same international structure, at two levels, and PPA holds standing at both.

Philippine Padel Team entry
Only the member federation can enter the Philippine Padel Team into FIP world and continental championships. Entries submitted by any other body cannot be validated.
Event sanctioning
International events staged in the Philippines require the member federation’s approval to be sanctioned and to award FIP ranking points.
Ranking and eligibility
Player licensing, eligibility and the flow of results into the international ranking run through the member federation.

National recognition
Our position, stated plainly
The Philippine Padel Association holds the Philippines’ international membership in padel, backed by its legal registration and its record of national and international activity.
Our position is straightforward:
One sport, one recognised federation. International padel is organised on that principle, and Philippine padel should be too. The federation that holds the international membership is the federation through which Filipino athletes reach the world. Aligning national recognition with international membership is the outcome that serves players.
Where other organisations are active in Philippine padel, the federation’s door is open. Unification under one legitimate structure is preferable to a divided sport in every scenario we can see, and we have said so consistently to every party involved.
We protect one thing above all: the Philippines’ international membership and its record — the asset that makes Filipino results count.
