Representation
Playing for the Philippines
The Philippine Padel Team represents the country in FIP world and continental competition, with entries submitted by the Philippine Padel Association as the country’s member federation — the established route to international representation.
The team made its debut at World Championship level in the 2024 Asia-Africa qualification pathway, then reached the continental stage in 2025 at the FIP Asia Padel Cup. Players continue to compete on the FIP circuit, accumulating international ranking points and match experience at a level the Philippines has not had access to before.
On home soil
International competition hosted in the Philippines
Representing the country abroad is one half of international standing. The other is bringing the international circuit here. Since late 2024 the federation has staged six FIP-category events in Manila, Taguig and Pasig — FIP RISE Manila and four editions of FIP Promises Manila — giving Filipino players FIP ranking points without leaving the country, and giving the region a reason to travel to the Philippines to compete.

How players are selected
Selection is by published criteria, not invitation. This protects players and it protects the federation.

Register
Become a registered member of the federation. Registration creates your national player record.

Compete
Play sanctioned national competition and FIP-ranked events, and build a position on the national ranking. Sanctioned results count toward selection.

Selection
Players are named against the published selection policy ahead of each international campaign.

Represent
Named players are entered by the federation into FIP world and continental competition.

The federation works with partners on Philippine Padel Team kit, travel, training and campaign support. Partnership at Philippine Padel Team level carries rights beyond club or event sponsorship.
